The Missouri Mycological Society (MOMS) has been very fortunate to have the support of a small contingincy of volunteers that have been donating their time, energy and continual enthusiasm to helping groups and organizations throughout the Saint Louis metropolitan area, outstate Missouri and neighboring Illinois counties.

This volunteer group has enabled MOMS to offer speakers knowageable in amature mycology for scheduling at special engagements and monthly meetings. This demonstrates MOMS mission "to foster and expand the understanding of mushrooming and promotes the responsible hunting and identification of wild mushrooms by providing opportunities for individuals to share their ideas, experiences, and knowledge."
